I have my first bone fide research report due for work soon.
All those times in school when I asked "when will I ever need to use this??!"...apparently the answer is now.
But the nicest thing is that I'm finally doing something challenging.
Oh, also, in the next issue of the magazine my name's going to be listed as a "news editor". Ooooh. Which really just translates to me losing respect for anyone else ever listed as a "news editor" for a magazine :p |

I bought a car. A silver 06 Ford Focus.
The price isn't horrible, only a few hundred over KBB. I am, however, being raped by interest on account of having absolutely no credit. My credit report is literally 2 lines long: I have a credit card for a tiny limit, and $18 in collections from 2004. I have no clue how I got either of those. I have never filed for a credit card, so I'm really confused about that one. But, after some payments on this, because my score is pretty good, I should be able to knock off a whole lot of that interest. |

I love this place. I'm from California and I've found that good mexican food is a rare in Colorado. I can always get a cheese quesidilla (sp?) for my 4 year old and we are good to go! |

Since I'm never there I'm not sure how it happens, but apparently my mom comes up in conversation with decent regularity when ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) jefe is out with his friends. So far, at least a half dozen of his friends have expressed interest in hanging out with my mom.

Last night I started getting calls from an unavailable number around 2am.
I didn't wake up in time to answer the call until my phone rang for the 9th or so time at 4:30am.
I could barely understand the guy through his thick accent, but when I was able to make out "I just want you to talk with me" I went silent and turned off my phone. |

I have never been important enough for a company to give me a gift basket just for hiring on with them.
Until now.
They didn't break the bank with my Tea Time Sampler, but it's a very, very nice gesture indeed!
I feel like I should do a thank you card, but I have no clue who to address it to. |
